As a portrait and headshot photographer based in Madison, WI, I had the pleasure of doing a photoshoot with local writer and ceramic artist, Rebecca Krantz, at her home, where she graciously invited me to photograph her. Rebecca is about to release her new book, and the photoshoot was an incredible opportunity to capture her unique personality and style through my lens.
We discussed the different styles of portraits Rebecca was interested in and the feeling she wanted to convey in her photographs. Together, we chose different rooms of her home as backdrops for the shoot, taking advantage of the unique features of her space to create a range of images that reflected her personality and style.
Throughout the photoshoot, we had a relaxed and fun atmosphere, which allowed us to capture natural, authentic portraits. I was impressed by Rebecca’s natural ability to pose and express herself in front of the camera, making it easy to capture beautiful portraits that truly captured her essence.
The result was a set of stunning, high-quality images that showcased Rebecca’s talent and creativity, as well as the warmth and uniqueness of her home.
